How do I connect my MacBook to HDMI T.V.?

Ok, so I just got the new MacBook Pro and I want to be able to watch my Hulu shows on my TV. I think I understand it but I want to make sure before I spend $60 on the cables. I have a Toshiba HDTV with 4 HMDI ports on the back. To connect it, do I just need to buy a MiniDisplayPort to HDMI adapter and an HDMI to HDMI extender cable? What about the audio? Do I need to buy a separate cable for that or will it just go through the HDMI cable? 10 points to best answer
