Can I stop my period after it already started using the pill?

I'm on tri sprintec and took one pill a day later than i was supposed to during the third week and now my period has started. Would it be possible for me to stop it in the next couple days if I take the third week of pills instead of the placebos? Or can I take the pill in any other way to make it stop just for this week? I'm not as concerned about its effectiveness on preventing pregnancy I just need my period to stop for a couple days.
