I was replacing a sprinkler head on my system?

The sprinkler head has a extender that goes from the head to the pvc pipe. I was screwing it back in and the extender snaped right a the top of the pvc pipe. Know I can't unscrew it because I have no leverage. Any help on how to get this out would be awesome. Thanks!
