Could I be pregnant? On birth control, but took it a few hours late and the condom broke?

About a month ago I took my birth control less than four hours late, although I almost always take it within the same hour time frame. Later that night we used a condom, but when he pulled out it was broken. From what I've heard the pill will protect you from precum. There is a chance he could have not pulled out on time of course. If i took my pill before having sex even though it was still late am I still protected? I've been on birth control a year and a half, although I switched brands to seasonique and was on it for around three months when this occurred. If i take my placebo week pills a month after the incident will I know if im pregnant or not depending on whether or not I get my period?
