HELP! why is my mac book randomly shutting off when i move it!?
The only moving part inside the computer is the disk and read head in the disk drive. If the drive is faulty, I suppose the vibration of moving it could cause all sorts of errors. Things inside a laptop are incredibly crowded, so maybe some two parts that are never supposed to touch are so close together that moving the machine causes them to touch and short out. There's no way this is a software problem; it has to be hardware. Since you got this in December, it's surely still under warranty. Take it back. Don't just ask them to fix it, ask for a new computer. Obviously no laptop should be this sensitive to handling. Diagnosing and fixing this is unlikely in any case.
