Birth control question? Possible pregnancy?

I am in a relationship and I am sexually active. I was on my period last the week of May 15th, and I started my first ever pack of Nortel (1/35) birth control pills on the 22nd of May. I have been taking it religiously at 7 pm every single day, never missing the day. I have protected sex with spermicide condoms, and the only time I don't use spermicide condoms was when he didn't ejaculate into me. We used a condom, but not spermicide. I'm on my white placebo (sugar) pills this week, and I have been having my period on and off. I'll have it for an hour, then it'll stop. I am very worried I am pregnant. Could it be the hormones of the pill messing me up because I've only just started it? I have period cramps like normal. Help!
